He has risen!

Now after the Sabbath, towards the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.  And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.  His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.  And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.  But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.  He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.  Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”  So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.  And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshipped him.  Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.” – Matthew 28.1-10 (ESVUK) 🙌

  1. Keith Green was a prophet in his times and decades thereafter, with an almost unique passion for Christ, revival and mission. My wife and I still listen to his music. But of course the true hero in his, and our story, is the risen Lord who is worthy of all praise! Thanks for posting.

    • I am trying to re-discover KG, Gary. I was still a child when my big bro was receiving the Last Days mags and playing KG cassettes.

I looove this Acts song and was looking for it for years. It was played on the radio a few weeks ago–and that’s when I learned it’s KG’s!

I’ve seen you play on the piano a few times–you’re amazing!!!! Ahh… the generational gap. I tell myself in God’s kingdom my parents will just be my siblings, lol. In that time we will all agree on what music genre we’ll play/sing to praise and worship our God!

      • So true. I passed down my albums to my younger brother with no “take backs”.
I am hoping to put out a simple recording soon on an Easter song I wrote (before Easter I hope).

      • Looking forward! You not only have the skills, but the ear for music–that’s a gift! And I read your article re miracle after injury on your arms. Isn’t our God amazing! “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places…” (Eph.1:3) 🎹🎼🎵🎶
