Lifeline to the Father

Reading: Matthew 27:45-54

“And behold,the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom….” (v.51)

“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.” – Hebrews 4.14

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace…. – Ephesians 2.13-14

  1. Amen. The Holy of holies is open, not just for the Old Covenant high priest once a year, but to all who draw nigh to God by the blood of Jesus. This is the provision of the New Covenant.

    “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
    By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
    And having an high priest over the house of God;
    Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water” (Heb. 10:1922 NKJV).

    And upon entry we are to abide there, dwell with the Presence there, and go no more out. Again, this is the provision of the New Covenant.

    • AMEN!!! AMEN!!!! Thank you, Allan for this very much appreciated contribution. Abiding and dwelling in the presence of God forever, all because of what Jesus our Saviour has done for us on the Cross–how beautiful!!!!

      I hope to leave a comment in one of your posts which I last read, but I need to get work out of the way first, so I can collect my thoughts, lol. Blessings! 🍀
