The things that take up our time

Reading: Matthew 22:15-22

“… Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s” – Matthew 22:21.

Lord, help me not to make too much of things that have no eternal significance, but rather to set my heart and eyes on what is above, and spend more time with You.  Thank you and Amen.

  1. ‘Been reading George Verwer’s books the past couple of days. So blessed. We could really spend so much time arguing and debating about our differing views, when we should be cultivating our personal relationship with our Lord. The basics of the gospel, however should not be compromised–Christ took our place on the cross, and resurrected on the 3rd day. And as we were crucified with Him, so should we live in Him, being transformed in His likeness–the fruits of the Spirit, especially love, manifesting in our lives. 💖
